During the internship, I acquainted myself with the curriculum of the music and computer science departments and I observed the collaboration between these two departments. I also familiarized myself with the equipment available at the university and visited the following studios: Goldsmiths Music Studio, Electronic Music Studios, Studio motion capture, Auralization laboratory. I browsed through the books studied by students during classes and other literature available at the university library. I attended classes with students, during which I observed the methods of teaching and interacting with students. During my internship I attended the following lectures and workshops:

Music Computing 2 – lecture – Freida Abtan, Creative Programming – workshops – Rebecca Fiebrink, Composition: Creative Strategies – lecture – Jeremy Peyton Jones, Sonic Art Practice – lecture (Field Recording as composition practice) – Emmanuel Lorien, Popular Music Production (Creative Recording Ideas) – Ian Stonehouse, Composition for Moving Image Media – Ian Gardiner, Contemporary Music Ensemble – Andrew Zolinsky, Creative Project Year 1 – lab – Simon Katan, Jeremy Gow, Creative Music Technology – Ian Stonehouse.

In addition, I had an opportunity to participate in a lecture from the Music Research Series titled “Presented by the Unit for Sound Practice Research” by Rebecca Fiebrink. During my internship there was also an event called “Applicant Day” which offered many lectures and presentations. I presented the works of graduates (Music Computing demo works) which were mainly audio works. I also had an opportunity to attend a lecture by Jeremy Gow for students-to-be about games programming). During my stay, I took part in two concerts. At one of the concerts I played the flute – RUSH-HOUR CONCERT Contemporary Music Ensemble – 30.01.2015, conducted by Andrew Zolinsky
