Wojciech Osuchowski


A graphic designer, an art director, a pre-press specialist. For over 26 years, Osuchowski has been professionally involved with printing services and advertising. A graduate of the Art Institute in Cieszyn, the Faculty of Arts of the Silesian University. He completed his master`s diploma under the supervision of professor Artur Starczewski in the Chair of Graphic Design. He also completed an academic course in drawing and interdisciplinary arts in professor Anna Kowalczyk-Klus’ studio.
In 2016, Osuchowski was recognized by the Rector of the University of Silesia for outstanding artistic achievements. He was awarded the title of the doctoral student of the year 2016 at the University of Silesia and received a scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
In 2017, under the academic supervision of prof. Aleksander Ostrowski, Osuchowski received a PhD degree at his alma mater, where he currently works as an assistant professor in the New Media Department.
He lives and works in Poland and the Czech Republic. He deals primarily with social poster, which he considers to be his way of “grappling“ with the world and a commentary on the surrounding reality. He also works as a graphic designer, a photographer, a multimedia artist, a web and logo designer. His works have been presented at over 140 private and public exhibitions in Poland, Europe, Asia and both Americas. Winner of over a dozen awards and distinctions, mainly for posters.
